Born in Los Silos, but married and settled permanently in the town of Santiago, our biographer worked in this municipality as a farmer and agricultural owner, becoming the largest taxpayer in the entire Valley. By virtue of this, he was among the electors with the right to participate in the election of deputies to the Cortes and nomination for senator.
Furthermore, given his preeminent position, he was named constitutional and royal mayor, harvester of the grain shed of said valley and factory steward of the parish. He was born in the town of Los Email Marketing List Silos around 1788, the son of Don Fernando Dorta Acevedo, a native of said town, and Doña Clara Gorrín Dorta, who was from the town of Santiago.
He was baptized in the parish church of Our Lady of Light. He married in the parish of San Fernando in Santiago del Teide with Mrs. María González Martel y Gorrín, a native of said town and her father's native of Guía, and they settled in the same valley..
