Most of us spent more time in cubicles than at home. As we see the trajectory of our lives shift from work to family, we also see the priorities of our lives change. We no longer have to make small talk with people we don’t care about, and we are no longer forced to make unnecessary investments in corporate culture, office politics, and pretending to be interested in the lives of our colleagues in order to get ahead. It will create more authentic relationships in the workplace that are characteristic of business itself, transactional relationships, rather than competitive team of us versus them.
