The Qing Dynasty was the last imperial dynasty of China, ruling from 1644 to 1912. Founded by the Manchu people, the dynasty was established after the fall of the Ming Dynasty. Under the Qing Dynasty, China experienced a period of great expansion and prosperity. The Manchu rulers implemented a series of reforms that aimed to strengthen the central government, improve the economy, and maintain social order.
